CYTOLOGY GENERAL SUPERVISOR<br>A cytology general supervisor is a qualified cytotechnologist responsible for day-to-day supervision or oversight of the laboratory operation and personnel performing testing and reporting test results in cytology. (For the subspecialty of cytology a lab must have a general supervisor.) <br><br>REQUIREMENTS:<br> Must be qualified as a cytotechnologist and/or possess current license issued by the state of Tennessee, and must have at least four (4) years of full-time (30 hours per week) experience as a cytotechnologist within the preceding ten (10) years. <br><br>RENEWALS: <br>Licenses must be renewed every two years.
