A graduate of a board-approved program of animal health technology, certified under the Act, who is employed by or under the supervision of, a veterinarian to perform such duties as are required in the physical care of animals and in carrying out of assignments directed by a licensed veterinarian and requiring an understanding of animal science but not requiring the professional skill and judgment of a licensed veterinarian.
